Rabies Awareness

Rabies is a fatal but preventable viral diseases that affects both animals and humans. Vaccinating your pets on time is the most effective way to protect them and your loved ones.

1. On-time Vaccination is KEY

Ensure your pet's rabies shots are up-to-date. All dogs and cats aged 3 months and older should receive an annual rabies vaccination.

Did you know? Cebu City's Local Ordinance No. 2526 (Animal Welfare Ordinance) requires annual registration and vaccination for pets.

2. Avoid Contact with Stray Animals

Never touch unknown animals, especially if they show unusual behavior such as aggression, lethargy, or drooling. Teaching your children these rules is equally important.
